Tyson Properties was established in August 2005 by Chris Tyson and Gavin Cunningham with a single real estate office servicing the residential sector of the market in the greater Durban area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Chris Tyson grew up in a property family and with his vast experience in property approached Gavin Cunningham, a successful local businessman, to start the company.

Born out of the need to create a sophisticated real estate environment, Tyson Properties focused on one main point - to establish a real estate office that offered exceptional services to top agents in the industry, providing them with a platform to excel and a happy working and professional environment.
